1. Our group is oriented towards reacment, all of our members reconstruct the Viking Period between 8th and 10th century.
2. Every member is obliged to train combat and/or attend to be a furrier, blacksmith, sculptor, boneworker and so on.
3. All craftsmen should present their craft on festivals or, at least, bring their products with them for sale. Every person who is not a fighter should present their craft, train themselves in it and collect knowledge concerning it.
4. Every fighter and candidate for the position of Hirdmann should train himself in fighting skills and collect essential equipment and improve it.
5. All candidates and members of the Hird are responsible for the image of our group on festivals. It is everyone's duty to look after decent looks of the equipment and the encampment.
6. Any kind of used equipment should be confirmed with archeological findings. In case of non-confirmed but essential fighting equipment (like gloves), every candidate should make it from available in this period (8th-10th century), materials and techniques.
7. Discipline and obedience towards our laws and our Jarl (towards chosen Hoedving in case of Jarl's absence or every member of the Hird in case of Jarl's and Hoedving's absence), is obligatory in our group.
